Our computer workshops and courses are designed to help you build skills that you can use in employment, job searching, further education and day to day life management. You can also continue to develop and enhance your skills with individualized training, depending on your needs.

COMPUTER BASICS

This course is essential for anyone who has never used a computer or who has very limited computer experience.
You will gain an understanding of the functions of the computer operating system and how to use a computer in the most basic manner. You will also learn how to use the Internet, set up an e-mail account.

These courses are designed to introduce computer applications, using practical examples in a hands-on learning environment.  You will have the opportunity to learn and practise at your own pace and from your own manuals.  The learning environment is meant to be comfortable and inviting for any new computer user.

With the Internet buzzing with social media, there are many ways to use it in order to network, and eventually find a job. This workshop will introduce you to some social media job search tools.  You will also have the option to create a LinkedIn account.
