Field Crew Members Needed


Are you looking for a summer job that will allow you to work outdoors, have a
flexible schedule and expand your knowledge of Northern Ontario ecology? Our
field crew positions are a lot of fun, but not for the faint of heart!


About Northern Wildflowers
Northern Wildflowers is a small business located just West of Sudbury in
Naughton Ontario. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with high
quality, sustainably collected, local products. Our products include native plants,
seeds and wild collected food products. Our services include consulting and
contract seed collection.


Our Field Crew
We are looking to recruit 2-3 additional field crew members to assist in the field
collection of some of our wild products. Field crew members are trained on the
identification of plant species, ethical collection practices, safe food handling and
safe outdoor work practices. Depending on site location our field crew members
may work in pairs or on their own. Crew members may work long days outdoors,
and at times work in backcountry locations and on difficult terrain.


Requirements
Own vehicle, G class driver’s license, ability to work long days outdoors in
difficult terrain, reliable, positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to follow
detailed instructions.


Wage: $13.15 to $15/hr
Hours: flexible, 14-40 hours per hours/ week, averaging 25 hours per week.


These positions will be filled as suitable candidates are found. Interested
