Position: Bar Manager
This position is a part-time (contract) to manage all aspects of alcohol bar service operations for festivals across Northern and Central Ontario. This position requires a committed leader to develop an efficient and focused concessions team by enhancing communication, collaboration and competence.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of all alcohol sales at festivals
• Provide excellent service to patron’s
• Handle patron’s preferences and any complaints
• Manage logistics of festival bar service, product and supplier procurement
• Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls
• Manage and train bartenders
• Duties as assigned
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience in bar/restaurant management
• Exceptional communication skills
• Must have a SmartServe Certification
Must be a strong manager and possess excellent leadership and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and organization skills
Ability to diffuse tense situation and resolve conflicts quickly
• Ability to walk/stand for a long period of time, and occasionally lift and carry heavy items in a stressful environment
